The El Traffico match between the Los Angeles Galaxy and LAFC delivers late night drama in a classic battle between the LA rivals. The Galaxy were quick to put things into perspective as Marco Reus put in a deflected ball within the first 6 minutes. LAFC then repsonded with a beautiful right footed curler by Denis Bouanga. Both teams retreated from the locker rooms ready to break the deadlock but LAFC took things into their own hands with a goal from Nathan Ordaz, assisted by Ryan Hollingshead. With LAFC in the lead, it was up to the Galaxy to respond and they did so in outstanding fasion. Marco Reus again put the ball in the back of the net with a spectacular free kick against Hugo Lloris, winning him MLS's "Player of the Match Day". Both teams had several opportunities to break the tie and the Galaxy did have one more goal scored by Gabriel Pec that was later called offsides. Final score 2-2 at the Dignity Health Sports Park.
